Fertility doesn’t always mean “trying to conceive”.
Something most people don’t know!
This is something I didn’t know until a friend of mine educated me on the term “fertility” and the importance of being fertile, even if you aren’t trying to become pregnant.
The term “fertility” does mean to be ABLE to reproduce, but luckily, we live in a time where humans can choose not to reproduce.
So if you don’t want to reproduce as women, it doesn’t matter if you’re fertile, right? 🤔
In my opinion, it absolutely matters.
Some physicians refer to women’s menstrual cycles as our fifth vital sign🤯 This means, your menstrual cycle indicates your overall health and can show when somethings just not right.
The point of our menstrual cycle is to ovulate, but if we aren’t ovulating, our bodies may be trying to tell us something. This could be anything from our hormones being off balance, to gynecological diseases or disorders.
So, for me, even though I’m not trying to conceive, fertility and ovulation is important!
This is where abdominal/womb massage can help!
Yes, it can absolutely help someone who is trying to conceive, but it can also help women who maybe don’t want to conceive, who just want a healthy menstruation and to live in harmony with their cycles.
This is why I offer abdominal/womb massage for every stage of a woman’s life. We are all on such different, beautiful paths, some becoming mamas, some not. Womb and abdominal massage can benefit us all, even those who may not have a womb anymore.
The techniques I have learned from the Abdominal Therapy Collective and Dr.Rosita Arvigo focus on the nerves, arteries, veins, energy and lymph that pass through our abdomens and womb space. Helping to realign the organs and create movement, helps improve the flow and create a safe space for your body to heal. In combination with using castor oil packs and yoni steaming, this work has helped women heal their wombs, their periods, their digestion and pain & trauma stored in the abdominal/womb space.
